Chapter Eight.

Therapy.

Ileene had been unusually lenient with me for some weeks. Where once I would have been caned and strapped for the smallest offence, these last few weeks she had let me off the worst of punishments. Being so close to Ileene I began to understand her well and often knew things were going to happen long before anything was said. Ileene was quite facile and easy to understand and I could almost see her think. Therefore, I sensed all this forgiveness had a motive and Ileene was planning something for me but what I asked myself?

Sometimes I was allowed to take breakfast with my Mistress and one morning I was invited into the kitchen. I was even more surprised when Ileene said she would cook and told me to sit at the kitchen table and wait. She brought me over a coffee and then turned her back on me to crack eggs into a frying pan.

“We need to have a long chat,” Ileene said without any qualification.

“Do we?” I replied weakly and with curiosity mixed with dread.

“Yes, we do,” Ileene answered, let's have breakfast first, then we can go and sit in the living room with another coffee and biscuits. Your chores can wait until later when we have concluded our little tete-a-tete.”

Well, this has never happened before. The whole of Ileene’s manner was different, I was curious and in panic at the same time. Was I to leave, or was I to be sacked, not that I presumed a slave can be fired, but I wondered. Then I thought no, I was too useful to let go. I cost her very little and I generally worked quite hard. If I went she would need to pay someone else and she wouldn’t be able to bully them as she can me. So what was this talk going to be about, I wondered?

During a breakfast of scrambled eggs and toast, we just talked about ordinary things, when finished, I was told the dishes could wait. We took a cup of coffee and a plate of digestive biscuits into the living room. Ileene indicated by patting the sofa that she wanted me to sit down beside her. I did, but my nerves were filled with apprehension as Ileene’s behaviour was so out of the ordinary, what was all this about?

“Do you like being here with me? Are you happy being my slave and servant?”

“Yes,” I replied bluntly.

“How do you feel about being my slave for the rest of your life?”

“I have gotten used to you and being a slave,” I replied inadequately. “Yes,” I said after a very short pause, “I would like to be your slave for life.”

“Good,” Ileene said in a firm voice as she wriggled on the sofa to make herself more comfortable. “That was just what I wanted to hear, we get on well and you need discipline and order in your life.” She turned more towards me so she could get a good look at my face.
